Emma Bentley is a graduate of LIPA. Whilst training she played Feste in Twelfth Night, The Herald in Marat/Sade, Auntie Beil in Three Sisters on Hope Street and Lily in Punk Rock. She also directed a production of Laura Wade's Breathing Corpses and assisted Adam Penford on The Talented Mr Ripley.

 

She performed To She or Not to She as part of several scratch nights before taking it to the Bike Shed, Buxton Fringe Festival, Playbox Theatre Company and finally the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at Pleasance Courtyard. In Edinburgh the show was nominated for the NSDF award and received the Special Commendation for Solo Performance. She is currently a member of Soho Theatre Young Company.
